Don't ask me about my secret feminist agenda

This work explores the female body as a container for loss and shame while also challenging the limited social narratives around female identity and reproduction. The embroidered pieces suggest a depth and complexity to women’s circumstances and concerns which are often disregarded and disguised while the repetitive stitching and manipulating of fabric references the clinical procedures, biological processes and medical instruments used to poke, prod and examine women’s bodies.
